Crunchy Oat Bisciuts

  • Ingredients:
  • - 75g (3oz) plain flour
  • - 1/2 a level tsp bicarbonate of soda
  • - 75g (3oz) demerara sugar
  • - 75g (3oz) SCOTTS PORRIDGE OATS
  • - 75g (3oz) butter/dairy free margarine
  • - 1tbsp Lyles Golden Syrup

Cooking instructions:
sieve the flour and bicarbonate of soda in a large enough bowl. Then add the demerara sugar and SCOTTS PORRIDGE OATS and mix together. Heat the butter and Lyles Golden Syrup in a pan until boiling. Mix it all together and roll it into generous balls (you should have about 20). Set the biscuits well apart on a lightly greased baking tray and bake at gas mark 3/ 160c for 7 to 15 minutes, depending on your oven,until golden brown. and for a slightly sweeter taste you could melt some chocolate and dip the biscuit in that.:)
